Created by leading insurance marketing firm, Vertibrands, MGA+ uses 100% digital marketing techniques to deliver resources and sales tools to agents and brokers seeking to benefit from top tier underwriting relationships.
MGA+ reaches nearly 400,000 P&C agents and brokers each month through our digital marketing efforts. While this is much more costly than traditional email blasting, MGA+ underwriting sponsors realize cost efficiencies by spreading these marketing expenses across all sponsors.
As a result, MGA+ is free to agents, brokers and consumers. In order for agents and brokers to gain access to the potentially hundreds of sponsoring underwriters, MGA+ requires that each agent register. The agent profile created is used with our CAST (Customized Agency Sales Tools) platform which provides personalized PDFs of industry literature.
MGA+ is based on a referral model which means that there are NO costs to agents or brokers for registering with MGA+, or for submitting business through the MGA+ website or directly through our sponsors’ websites. Free means FREE.
What We Do
The MGA+ website is designed to help connect consumers to agents, and then agents to underwriters who specialize in distinct business classes. Specifically, consumers can find an agent who has a matching specialty and is in close proximity to their business or home. Insurance agents and brokers who register on our website gain access to our Customized Agency Sales Tools (CAST®) which incorporates the agent or broker’s profile to personalize industry sales literature for their client service or new business use. And we provide additional resources within each of the industries or products throughout the year to better inform our registered agents. Our sponsors are fully vetted and provide agents and brokers with the industry and underwriting insights to properly manage their insureds.
MGA+ plans to employ territory managers to visit agents and brokers throughout their territories, educating them on target classes, underwriting appetites, underwriting contacts and more. Meetings will be in-person or virtual. Like an independent sales representative, our territory managers can help facilitate business between agencies and MGA+ specialty underwriters.
Our goal will be to educate producers on our sponsors’ insurance programs and products through calls, webinars, trade show participation and onsite visits.
